Wow! I can't believe it's been 1 whole year since Garrett was born. It's been a great year full of new experiences and fun. We all had fun at Garrett's birthday party and a few days later we went to the doctor for his 1 year check-up. Garrett is now 18lbs. 4 oz. and 28 1/2 inches. He is still moving and crawling all over the place and "cruising" around. His first tooth is shortly on its way. Garrett his becoming quite the "big" boy. He loves looking at books and will even pat on the book for you to read it. He is beginning to try to say words. Every once in awhile you can make out some of his babble. He is so precious. We love him sooo much!
As far as his schedule goes, he is taking a much shorter nap in the morning and still naps in the afternoon. He has transitioned well to the sippy cup. On his birthday I just stopped fixing him a bottle and that was it. He is such a resillant little guy, he just goes with the flow! He is so precious. We love him sooo much!
This little guy has experienced a lot in his first year of life. He has riden on a Ferry boat, a plane, and on the subway. He has been to Ohio and all the states between Virginia and Florida. He's been to the beach, the pool, and the mountains. I'm looking forward to the new things he'll experience this year!
