This summer we are going to be introducing Garrett into the world of world travel! We are going to Aruba! We are beyond excited! Since Aruba is out of the country that means Garrett needs a passport. So Tom checked out the passport info site and found out that they recommend taking the child's photo for the passport so we ventured on to take some pictures.
Garrett was a little confused about what we were doing and wasn't sure why I was holding up a white sheet behind him. He kept wanting to get out of his seat, so I remembered a trick from the Duggars. They always play a video next to the interviewers so the kids are still facing the camera but their attention is on the movie. Good idea so I drug out the portable DVD player and that seems to do the trick for a bit.
We realized that we needed a little more light so we tried taking the picture somewhere else and then we just gave up!
We ended up getting his photo taken at the post office, and thankfully she got a shot after the second try!
