Water Day!

A few weeks ago Garrett had a water day and his sitters house.  Ever since then he is always talking and asking for a water day.  Yesterday afternoon, he was just itching to do something different and nothing was making him happy - probably from the lack of a nap that he didn't want to take but needless to say I said the two magic words and he turned that frown upside down!  ...Water Day!  We slipped on our swimming trunks and made our way to the back yard.  I pulled out the sprinklers and had a blast.  At first Garrett was a little apprehensive about running threw the water so we had to show him and by them time "water day" was over it took much convincing to get him back in the house.

We ended our Water day with all three of us jumping over the sprinkler.  Garrett would ask right after we jumped over the sprinkler "mommy hand and daddy hand please!" soooo adorable and way to hard to turn down the request.  Too bad we didn't have a picture of all us...but I'm sure we will all remember how much fun we had!
