This weekend Tom and a fabulous idea to head to Peaks of Otter and take a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy the fall leaves. He certainly had a great idea. It was the best weekend we have had in awhile. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the lodge at Peaks of Otter and after lunch we let Garrett run around outside. He had the best time ever. All giggles, smiles, and laughs...from all of us.
Later we ventured out on the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoyed some awesome views of God's creation. Just riding around looking at our beautiful world with the people you love is so relaxing. Looking back at that special time brings a smile to my face. I love this life!
