A Visit from Nina and Papa

We were all ready for Nina and Papa to come and visit for a few days.  Garrett was way excited to have his "friends" downstairs.  Each morning he would wake up and ask to go see them.  Garrett enjoyed a fun filled Friday afternoon with just his Nina and Papa and he certainly had the chance to show them just how energetic he really can be!

Saturday we all enjoyed an HSC basketball game and an excellent dinner at Charley's Waterfront Cafe.  Sunday we took it pretty easy but as we all know when Nina and Papa visit a project has to be completed.  Papa helped Tom fix the light above the sink along with replacing our sinks leaky faucet.  I am so thankful for having my light fixed and of course having a drip-less faucet is always a plus!  Thanks for the help Papa!  Monday night was Christmas with Nina and Papa.  Garrett was super excited to play with his new dump truck and Lincoln logs.  He loved loading his truck up and dumping it.  That night he even kept getting up to make sure they were still where we had left them.

Everyone enjoyed Nina and Papa's visit and we ended it with a breakfast out at good ole' McDonald's.  We were all sad to see them head out on their way but we certainly look forward to their next visit!
