Let the Egg Hunts Begin!

Garrett's new favorite thing...Egg Hunts!

This Easter season Garrett was able to participate in several egg hunts.  The first one was at my school, the teacher kids got together for an egg hunt.  Garrett was super excited to go to "his" school to find eggs.

 After the hunt the kids enjoyed turning in the eggs that they found for a goodie bag and also enjoy some snacks.

Since he enjoyed egg hunting so much during the week after I would pick him up from Crickets I would have the eggs all ready for him to find in the front yard!  It never got old!  It's the little things I guess! :) 

The next Saturday we went to a local church to participate in their Egg hunt.  Little did we know that is was a morning full of fun activities.  We enjoyed a yummy breakfast together, made egg shakers, listened to the Easter story by using Resurrection Eggs.  As you can see Garrett was all about learning that morning!  Then it was on to the egg hunt.

For some reason Garrett only wanted to collect green eggs...he said they matched his shirt.  Well he was right but boy did it make it easier for the other little ones to rack up on the eggs!

Once we were finished collecting all the green eggs we headed back inside to play some bingo - we had so much fun!  Garrett loved every minute of it!
