Happy Easter and Birthday to little Miss Emma Grace!

Easter 2011 was an exciting day not only was it Resurrection Sunday, Garrett's first Easter, but it was also Emma Grace's 1st Birthday!  In the morning Garrett got to "open" his Easter basket of goodies.  This year he got a John Deer tractor from Papa and a book from Nina and he also got a bath toy, a new sippy cup, and a couple of snacks.  He was excited! 

We of course had to help celebrate the BIG day for our special little girl, Emma Grace.  After church we all piled in the car for a trip (every since the car trip to FL, Garrett is still a little nervous about a long car ride).  Once we made it to the party Garrett was all smiles.  He loves seeing little Emma Grace and all her family.  We enjoyed a lovely lunch and then the kids got to enjoy a little egg hunt.  Brad's brother Andrew, Stephanie's sister Brittany, and her boyfriend hid the eggs for the sweet little kids.  Needless to say it was a true egg hunt!  I think Brad and Stephanie are still hunting!   All the girls plus Garrett enjoyed "hunting" for eggs and seeing what treasure was inside.

Birthday Girl!



Next was cake time.  Emma Grace took quite a bite out of her big cupcake.  This coming Saturday will be Garrett's turn!  can't wait!

Presents were next and Garrett and Emma Grace's girlfriend loved playing with EG's new presents. I think it's safe to say that Garrett loves birthday parties! Looking forward to celebrating his first birthday...Hungry Caterpillar style! :)
