Last week was certainly a busy week. Not only have Tom and I spent our nights painting but we also had some special visitors! Gommy and Melody, our niece, came to visit! Garrett got to meet one of his first cousins for the very first time! Melody was so excited to meet Garrett. As soon as she got to our house she couldn't wait to hold him. We even enjoyed listening to Melody read us part of a Magic Tree House book. She is such an awesome reader.
We took a trip to "downtown" Appomattox and visited Tom at the bank. All the ladies at the bank enjoyed meeting Melody along with seeing little man. Melody chose Country Charm ice cream for our afternoon snack. It was a hot day so ice cream was the perfect snack. After our snack we walked over t0 the Town of Appomattox welcome center and they gave Melody her first wooden nickel.
