To celebrate his 3 month birthday we went to Gommy and Granddaddy's house for a visit and for Garrett to meet his other cousin, Heather. He loved her! She would get close to him and he would "talk" up a storm. We would all giggle at how excited he got with Heather. Heather enjoyed the attention. Since Garrett was talking so much he was drooling or as Heather would call it..."dripping." She made sure he had a bib on to catch the "drips." Here are a few pictures of their day together.
This was also an exciting day for Tom and I...it marked the beginning of our first family Vacay! Yippee! Tom was looking forward to finally getting a vacation after working for a whole year without one. Here's a picture of Garrett right before we took off for Florida...his first plane ride! The trip to the airport was a little more stressful than Tom and I wanted but we amazingly made the flight. Our flight left at 8pm and we got to the airport at 7:30! I really think God froze the clock for us. I'm sure we were very comical to watch but needless to say we all made it on the plane and were still able to sit next to each other. Garrett did wonderful on the plane. So many people kept telling us when they would walk by or even when we landed that they didn't even know there was a baby on the plane. He slept most of the time. :) 
YaY! Garrett's 3 months!
These past 3 months have been so wonderful. Our little man is the sweetest little baby ever!!! (we're not biased one bit!) He has changed so much since the last month. Although he didn't have an official weigh in we are thinking he was about 11 1/2 - 12 lbs on July 30th. He is still eating every three hours and every two in the late afternoon until 10pm. We put him to bed around 7:30, wake him up at 10 and he'll sleep until 7am and some mornings I even have to wake him up at that time. He loves his sleep! He is starting to like tummy time since he is getting much stronger. We even tried putting him in the bumbo seat and he seems to enjoy it too! He even moves his head to watch the TV! About a week or so before his 3 month birthday he started reaching out for things. I can't believe how much he grows and changes right before your eyes! AMAZING!
