This year we also got Garrett a recordable book from Hallmark. Our thinking was for him to have it while we were away but my parents thought that it might make him homesick, so they saved it for us to share with him. He loved looking at the pages, at first he would only listen to the music and then he realized he could listen to our voices.
Our Christmas Eve pictures...ever since last year we started taking pictures of us by the Christmas tree once we get home from church. This year it was quite adventurous with getting Garrett to do what we wanted him to do when all he wanted to do was open presents or play with his toys. So here are the pictures we were able to capture this year! :)
We continued on with our normal Christmas traditions...eating orange cinnamon rolls, reading the Christmas story out of Luke, opening stockings, and then onto unwrapping presents! Garrett really LOVED unwrapping presents and certainly helped his daddy unwrap his too! The highlight of Garrett's Christmas this year was his train table, work bench, and of course his "big" red wagon. He kept going back and forth between these gifts.
Christmas Morning!
After "prying" Garrett away from his new toys, we ventured out to church and then to my parents house to enjoy Christmas day with them. This year Gabriela and Sebastian got to join in on the fun!
